India were 62/2 by the close of play on day two after the rain interruption. Earlier in the morning session, Australia were bowled out for 369 in their first innings. Ahead of the second innings, Indian fans might receive good news as the fast bowler Navdeep Saini may comeback and bowl in the second innings.

Indian fast bowler Navdeep Saini had to walk off the field, after struggling with pain in his groin regions. He was attended by the medical staff on the field. But he was unable to continue there and walked off the field, during the second session on day one.
