Ajay Jadeja takes a dig at Ravindra Jadeja over ice pack on shoulder



Team India bounced back in style in the third and final ODI against Australia in Canberra and avoided a whitewash in Australian soil. The hosts won the ODI series after winning back-to-back games. However, the Indians fought back really hard in the dead rubber.

Ajay Jadeja and Ravindra Jadeja had some fun after Canberra ODI.

India posted a target of 303. Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja played really well. Hardik was the top run-scorer for India as he chipped in with 92* off 76 balls including 7 fours and a six. Jadeja scored 66* off 50 balls with the help of 5 fours and 3 sixes.

Indian captain Kohli scored 63 to his name and for the first time in 12 years, he failed to score an ODI century in a calendar year. Hardik and Jadeja put on a match-winning 150-run partnership, which is the highest sixth-wicket stand in Australia.

Australia who maintained a 100% winning record in Canberra eventually lost in this venue. The hosts were bundled out for 289. Thanks to Shardul Thakur who picked up three wickets to his name. Natarajan and Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets apiece.

Hardik Pandya was named the man of the match for his impressive batting. After the match, the 31-year-old all-rounder was having a chat on Sony Ten in the post-match show. At that point of time, he had a ice-pack placed on his shoulder.

After taking a look at it, the former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja took this as an opportunity to troll the cricketer adding that the ice should be in glass. “I am worried. The ice should be in glass actually,” he added.

Meanwhile, Indian all-rounder also came up with a response which left everyone in splits. Jadeja stated: “It is night here. You are right, ice should be in glass,” he said.

India and Australia are seriously preparing for the upcoming T20I series. The first match of the three-match T20I series is scheduled to be held on December 4 at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. The second and third T20I will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 6th and 8th respectively.

For the first time in this coronavirus pandemic situation, the third and final T20I match at SCG will see the full crowd. Tickets were already sold out in less than 24 hours after it was put on sale. India already lost the ODI series and will be looking forward to making a serious impact in the T20I series.
