Bairstow breaks SRH dugout fridge with a six

Sunrisers Hyderabad right-handed batsman Jonny Bairstow broke the fridge of his team’s dugout fridge with a hard-hit six.

After losing the first two games, Sunrisers Hyderabad are taking on Mumbai Indians at Chennai, aiming their first win of the league. Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. After a good start in the powerplay, Mumbai Indians struggled a bit in the middle and scored 150 runs for the loss of five wickets.

The chasing hasn’t been quite easy in Chepauk as two scored around 150 were defended successfully in the last two games. Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner had a different opening partner in the form of Jonny Bairstow.

After being promoted up the order, the England right-handed batsman provided a blistering start needed by the franchise. Bairstow scored 43 runs off 22 balls with a strike rate of 195.45. His blistering knock included three fours and four sixes. But Bairstow had an unfortunate end as he got out for a hit wicket

In the course of the blistering knock, the right-handed batsman broke the glass of the fridge placed in the dugout of Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was in the third over bowled by Trent Boult where the batsman started to accelerate right from the first ball of the over.
