After losing Finn Allen first ball, that was just about the perfect T20 innings from New Zealand highlighted by another gem from Devon Conway and a fine debut from Will Young. Nasum did well on debut, but there was some serious tap for a few of the Bangladesh attack.
And a bit of a talking point about Conway’s reprieve when he was caught on the rope. It’s a small ground a good batting pitch, but this will take some chasing for Bangladesh.
New Zealand have scored 210 runs for 3 in 1st T20i and Bangladesh needs 211 runs in 20 overs while their senior players are missing from playing XI.
