The legendary M Chinnaswamy Stadium will host a T20I match for the first time in over 33 months. Check Chinnaswamy Stadium average score in T20 matches
Bengaluru is preparing for its first T20 encounter in nearly three years. Bengaluru’s cricket fans haven’t been able to see a T20 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium since September 2019.
The Indian Premier League and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy have not been held at this stadium since the last T20I, which was also an India-South Africa match.
As a consequence, it’s no surprise that tickets for the upcoming fifth India versus South Africa T20I in Bengaluru sold out almost immediately after they went on sale to the general public.
The match on Sunday night will be a series decider, with both sides tied at 2-2 after four matches. As a result, spectators should expect a packed M Chinnaswamy Stadium today.
