VIDEO: Commentators make funny prediction about Joe Burns that doesn’t come true

Virat Kohli celebrates with Umesh Yadav

During the three-day practice game between India and Australia A, a commentator predicted the shot of Joe Burns in the second innings of Australia A. Kerry O’Keeffe, who took the commentator role in the practice game, has said that Joe Burns will surely not leave the ball if the ball goes outside off.

As expected, the Indian pacer Umesh Yadav bowled a beautiful delivery on the outside off. But, the prediction has gone completely wrong as the Australian opener left the ball.

The Australian team will face some serious issue ahead of the first Test match against India. David Warner, who injured his hamstring during the ODI series, might miss the first Test game as well.

On the other hand, Will Pucovski picked up an injury during the practice game against India. He has been in brilliant form and was included in the Test squad as well. But, he got hit on the helmet by a bouncer and retired hurt.

Pucovski, who has been tremendous with the bat, confirmed his place in the starting eleven for the first Test against India. On the other hand, his fellow opener, Joe Burns might warm the bench as he could score just 4 and 0 runs in the practice game.
