Dublin cricket stadium pitch report
The Malahide Stadium in Dublin is an excellent track to play on, and it also provides assistance to bowlers, too. There’s an opportunity for pacers during the initial innings of the game as an entirely new wicket is being used. In terms of taking wickets spinners have performed an excellent job. After the wicket has settled, batters can hit their shots since they have an even bounce on the field.
19 T20I were played at the ground and five of them were abandoned or cancelled due to weather conditions or any other reason. Of the 14 matches 8 games were won by the teams that chased them, and six games were won by the teams playing first.
The final T20I match played on this field occurred in the T20I match between South Africa and Ireland in July 2021. The spin bowlers from South Africa did a great job. The team of India will be playing with Axar Patel as well as Yuzvendra Chahal. Ireland will be represented by Andy McBrine and George Dockrell as their players.
It will be cloudy throughout the game and the rain will definitely hinder the game in the interval. Both teams should pursue after winning the toss, with the DLS in the back of their minds.
