Chasing a target of 160 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore are two wickets down vs Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021’s season opener, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.
Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell are currently batting for RCB, and are adding runs to their chase. Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya and Trent Boult have taken a wicket each for MI. Earlier, MI wrapped up their innings with 159 for nine in 20 overs. Opener Chris Lynn was his side’s top-scorer with 49 runs off 35 deliveries.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav (31) and Ishan Kishan (28) also made decent contributions to the scoreboard. Harshal Patel was in top form for RCB, taking five wickets (including three dismissals in the 20th over). Meanwhile, Kyle Jamieson, Sundar registered a dismissal each.
