The innings, which featured nine fours and as many sixes, was brought to a close in the 19th Over, when the RR opener hammered 116 runs off only 65 deliveries.

Virat Kohli 2016 IPL runs
Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli compiled a total of 973 runs in 16 innings in the 2016 season of the flagship league, with the help of 7 half-centuries and 4 centuries at an incredible average and strike rate of 81.08 and 152.03 respectively.

Buttler, who has 491 runs in seven innings this season and with the Royals scheduled to play at least seven more matches in IPL 2022, might be the hitter to break Kohli’s elusive run aggregate record.
