Will Pucovski hit on helmet; walks off the field

The Australian opener Will Pucovski has got injured by a bouncer of Kartik Tyagi during the warm-up game against India. The young Australian cricketer has been in tremendous touch with the bat and all set to make his debut against India.

But, the right-handed cricketer fell down to the ground after getting hit on the helmet. He did not continue to bat and went to the dressing room. Kartik Tyagi was the one who bowled the fantastic bouncer but the result was not good.

As per the commentators, Will Pucovski had a bad history of concussion. So, the team management will take care of the injury. Pucovski, who is their first-choice Test opener, certainly doubts for the pink ball Test match at Adelaide.

The Australian cricket board has always concern about the concussion injury. Because of the same injury, the world lost the talented cricketer, Phil Hughes at the age of just 25.

The ICC has introduced the new rule that the teams can use a concussion substitute in the match. Actually, the substitute players can’t bowl or bat but the new rule states that the concussion substitute player can do what the injured player supposed to do.
